Intro Blog

  Hey its me Jean Sanchez, I'm back! I am now 17 years old and in 11th grade. My time in AICE media studies AS level was fun so I decided to take A level! My birthday is December 2nd 2006. I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale and have lived here my whole life. I have 4 sisters and no brothers, and a mom and dad. I have a dog his name is Chewbacca and a cat named Coco, and now have another dog named Miko! I have an interest to own my own business and am thinking about becoming influencer. When I was younger I used to play soccer but stopped playing awhile back. I started playing the trumpet in middle school and continue to play in high school with the schools marching band. I like to play video games when I have time too. I learned how to solve different kind of Rubik's cubes when I was younger so I enjoy solving puzzles. My parents are from Mexico so I know how to speak Spanish and have a Hispanic background. During this school year I hope to complete my Cambridge diploma and work harder to graduate next year. Two of my older sisters went to UF for university so I plan on going to UF as well. A backup I've been thinking about is UCLA or UCF. I would also like to help people in need in the future when I am able to give back to people. I like to listen to music and would also like to learn how to play other instruments like guitar and piano. I used to skateboard but slowly stopped over time but intend on getting back into it. I would also like to learn a form of martial arts because I've seen a lot of movies and shows about them and I found it very fascinating so I would like to learn. One of the main things I want to do with the time I have is to have an impact on the world and do something good.

  How do your products represent social groups or issues? My product represents social groups by showing how two guys just expected to go on a camping trip and everything to be okay just like most people. However on their trip they decided to go out and explore the area, this is when one of them mentions something he found when he did research on the area they were camping at. Jean (white shirt) mentions that during his research he found that a kid they once knew was reported missing after going into that forest, Riley then says he’s exaggerating. This could represent how friends will tease one another for being afraid of something they know and are afraid of which could lead to people not wanting to mention how they feel when they are talking about a certain thing. An issue our film can show is people not being cautious enough when they are out exploring an area they aren’t familiar with. I Love Filming

  Okay, so filming isn't all serious business  - we had our fair share of laughs and mishaps today. From tripping over cords to accidentally scaring each other with our own props, it was definitely a day filled with unforgettable moments.  We even had a few unexpected visitors on set - a curious squirrel and a nosy neighbor who wandered into the frame at the most inconvenient times. But hey, it's all part of the fun, right? We embraced the chaos and turned it into comedy gold, capturing every hilarious moment on cameras.  Between takes, we goofed around and shared inside jokes, creating memories that we'll cherish long after the cameras stop rolling. It's moments like these that remind us why we love filmmaking - it's not just about the finished product, but the journey along the way.
